If you grow it, raise it, make it, or bottle it — and you sell it directly to real humans — we’re probably for you. Think small farms, flower growers, cheesemakers, u-pick orchards, meat producers, pastured egg whisperers, and any local maker who relies on community connection.
You don’t need to have a website or a “brand.” You just need a few people who buy from you, and a desire to keep them coming back. Our tools are for any place-based producer who wants to make it easier to sell more, together.

Catch & Cover is like a digital farmhand that helps you turn visitors into regulars without learning marketing.
It starts with something simple: a sign at your stand, orchard, or store. Someone scans it and lands on a friendly webpage where they can sign up to get a recipe or an update. That moment kicks off a quiet chain reaction, automatically capturing their email and following up on your behalf.
That’s just the beginning.
When you’re ready, you can add a simple, beautiful online storefront to your farm’s page. We handle payments and send you a single, clear pick list. But our real power is in collaboration: you can join with neighboring farms to create a shared storefront. A customer can buy produce from you, cheese from your neighbor, and a dozen eggs from a friend, all in one easy transaction.
So the answer is, Catch & Cover does a lot. But you can keep it simple or go deeper. We provide a intuitive system that makes it easier to build lasting, real-world relationships, and make your farm more resilient.

We believe farmers should keep what they earn. Other platforms charge high commissions (3-15%) on every sale, which feels like a tax on your hard work. We don't.
We offer simple, tiered subscriptions that scale with your needs, starting with our Free tier that lets you build your list at no cost. You only pay for the extra support you need to add a storefront or collaborate with a collective.
And because we believe in shared success, we give back. A portion of a small customer support fee goes back to our members, and we even pay a yearly cash dividend based on our revenue back to the network. When local food grows, our members grow too.

Nope. If you can take a photo and send a text, you’re good. We built this for farmers who are offline by default. Most things happen automatically, in the background, or via text and email.
But… if you are a tech nerd, love data, or want more functionality? You’ll have access to advanced features, analytics, integrations, and tools to customize your setup. Think of it as: simple by default, powerful when you want it.

We’re kicking the tires on Catch & Cover with a small group of real farms starting in late 2025. Why? Because farms aren’t like other businesses. You sell seasonally, have limited inventory, and can’t just scale on demand. Your tools need to be purpose-built for you.
If you’re part of the pilot, we’ll set you up with our tools at no cost. You don’t need anything fancy to get started: just a phone and a willingness to give it a try. We’ll even help you at your farm if you need it.
You’ll receive a small stipend as a thank-you, and once things are up and running, most farms find it takes just 15 to 30 minutes a week over the ~8 week pilot during your selling season to keep things going. You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll have a real human and often our founder (who is also a real human) checking in, offering support, and making sure it fits your workflow. Your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
We’re looking for all types: farms with a website, active socials, an email list, sure - but also farm stands with no website at all. The goal is to support producers who sell direct and want to spend less time on marketing (or spend less time stressing about how to start marketing) and more time doing what they love. If you’ve got real-world needs - like raising funds for a new hoop house or keeping your loyal customers coming back - you’re exactly who we’re building for.
Your data stays yours. We don’t sell or share it. And you don’t need to be big or tech-savvy to benefit. We’re not looking for perfect farms. Just real ones.
Farmers first. Always.

In farming, catch crops and cover crops, also called companion crops, do quiet but powerful work. They hold nutrients, protect roots, shield soil from erosion, and set the stage for what comes next.
That’s what we aim to do for farms and place-based producers. Catch & Cover is built to be your digital companion crop: holding onto hard-won customer relationships, protecting your time, and helping new growth take root. Like any good cover crop, we stay low-maintenance, but we definitely pull our weight. We protect the soil you've already nurtured, and then we help you grow stronger by growing together.

Yes, please! We’re actively working with educators, food advocates, and local food orgs who want to support producers better. We partner with non-profits, institutions, and community groups that are building a more resilient local food economy. Whether you have a skill to share or just want to help get the word out, we’d love to hear from you.
