Welcome! We’re happy you found us.
MoMoss & Madder Farm is a specialty cut flower farm focused on seasonal beauty, thoughtful growing practices, and flowers that feel rooted in place. What began as a small experiment has grown into a full-time farm serving the Kitsap Peninsula and surrounding region.
The farm started in 2020, almost by accident. After stepping away from an MBA program, founder Jodi Logue took a few gardening and farming classes for fun. Along the way, she discovered the world of independent seed companies and quickly found herself with more seeds than would fit in a backyard garden. With a weedy meadow next to her home and a willingness to try, she planted her first field and began growing cut flowers in earnest.
As the seasons passed, Jodi fell in love with the rhythm of farming. The cycle of planting, tending, harvesting, and resting became a way of life rather than a side project. In 2024, she left her nursing career to farm full time, committing fully to Moss & Madder Farm and the work of growing flowers well.
Moss & Madder Farm specializes in seasonal cut flowers grown using organic, chemical-free practices. The farm is Certified Naturally Grown, with decisions guided by soil health, plant resilience, and respect for the surrounding ecosystem. Flowers are grown in step with the seasons rather than forced, resulting in blooms that reflect the natural character of each time of year.
The farm offers a spring CSA, providing members with fresh, locally grown bouquets throughout the season. Moss & Madder also creates DIY wedding flower buckets, fully designed wedding florals, and occasionally hosts floral-themed classes on the farm. In addition to direct sales, flowers are available through wholesale outlets, including the West Sound Floral Exchange.
At its core, Moss & Madder Farm is about care, curiosity, and paying attention to the land. Each bouquet reflects a journey that began unexpectedly and grew into a deeply rooted calling.
